1947 Great Lakes Bowl
Kentucky v Villanova
Dec. 6, 1947

On December 6, 1947, the Kentucky Wildcats defeated Villanova in the Great Lakes Bowl. This was the University of Kentucky's first ever post season bowl appearance, marked by a 24-14 Victory. This was the first and only Great Lakes Bowl ever played.
