1969-70 Season Preview

In November 1969, the Kentucky Wildcats began the campaign without one third of the great recruiting class of Casey, Issel, and Pratt. Make Casey had shattered his leg in an automobile accident during the off season. Coach Rupp has said that if the 1969-70 Cats had the services of Mike Casey, that team would have delivered the school its 5th NCAA Championship of the Rupp Era.
