The End of the Adolph Rupp Era

Rupp was bitter about losing Payne to the NBA. Projected starter Kent Hollenback broke his foot four different times. Rupp said the teams that gave him his biggest thrills were the Fiddling Five and the undefeated 1954 team. Rupp's last five teams in reverse order were rated #14, #8, #1, #5, and #5. Go Back
