On June 7, 2006 , Big Blue Fans launched a new website, http:// BigBlueFans4UK.com with the following Vision and Mission :

The Vision:

To preserve and protect the history and traditions of this program for future generations of UK Basketball fans through the eyes, ears, and pens of the fans who have enjoyed the program in their own walk as a Cat fan.

The Mission :

BigBlueFans4UK.com exists to provide a sole source repository of the history, traditions, and lore of the UK Basketball program from the experience of the fans who have witnessed it first hand to establish and maintain proper expectations of excellence for the UK Basketball program . The Site will pursue its Mission with historical accounts, current news, editorials, and analysis of the Wildcats and the game they play.

Fans around the nation have been contributing to the content of the site, and the daily traffic at the site has exceeded available bandwidth in less that four (4) months . On October 5, 2006 , the site expanded its bandwidth and storage capacity to accommodate the rapidly growing storage and traffic demands, and to accommodate anticipated growth both in traffic and content in the months ahead.

The most recent content addition is The Legend Lives On, which features a poster autographed by 147 of the 352 UK Basketball Lettermen between 1918 and 1991. This is a must see, and the direct link to this portion of the site is:
