In 1977, the Cats finished the season 10-1 as the #6 team in the nation. Hope are running high that 2017 will produce similar memories.
I was fortunate to attend every home game at Commonwealth Stadium in 1977. Here are aerial views of the stadium as it existed in 1977 and as it is today.

The 2017 Senior Class

 The SEC Media have projected the Cats to finish #5 in the SEC East, ahead of Vanderbilt and Missouri.
Click this link at the end of October to compare how the Cats are actually doing with this projection.
Key Dates: September 16 (Game 3 at South Carolina) and
October 28 (Game 8 against Tennessee at Kroger Field)

If the Media is right, the Cats should have a record of 4-4 (5-3 with a win at Mississippi State), and if the Cats are doing better than the Media is projecting, the Cats will have a record of 5-3 (6-2 with a win at Mississippi State) or better at the end of October.
